From the President WOW-- Naples you are on FIRE! I wish to thank everyone for the opportunity to serve you as your President. It sure has been a great time. Thank you to each of you for your hard work through out the year. Special thanks to the board members for their unselfish dedication and endless hours of time in meetings. I have had a terrific time over the past years and have met some great people. I wish to ask each of you to provide the incoming board the same support and dedication you have shown the current board and me. If you can only provide an hour a month, that is great. It only takes a little time to make a big difference in your community. YOU really can make a difference in the Naples area. You have the opportunity to change many lives. Create a spark and the fire will grow. Thank you for all of the folks that worked on the "Helping Hands for Honduras", you showed that service to humanity IS THE BEST WORK OF LIFE! Let's finish this year strong. We can do it. Keep believing that through community service projects you can learn and become better at work, and play. We will be electing officers for the following positions: President Vice President of Membership Vice President of Management Vice President of Membership Vice President of Individual Development Vice President of Community Development Secretary Newsletter Editor Please be there and nominate your friends or yourself. We want YOU !!!! The Regional Meeting will be held on December 12". Willie Douglass will be running for Regional Director. Your support is needed at the Regional Meeting to elect him to this office. Willie had lead Naples down a terrific path. Our region would only benefit by his expertise. Members Wanted If you know of someone you wish to share the Jaycee Experience with call Marianne or Lisa to get him or her on our mailing list. We really did make a difference in the lives of these devastated people. Hurricane Mitch certainly left these victims hopeless, and with you helping hands-- we gave them hope. We are certainly proud of each of you for a job well done. Special thanks goes to Lisa Douglass, Project Chairman for and outstanding job of running a project-- this project has some great potential for recognition at State, National and International conferences. GREAT JOB, NAPLES JAYCEES. Rodeheaver's Rodeheaver's Boys Ranch will be at the Regional Meeting on December 13". We will be providing them a check for $1500.00 from the proceeds from the Haunted House. We hope to also provide a check to a representative from Autumn's House ($750.00) and UCP ($750.00) at the membership meeting on the 16" of December. Come and see your hard work at the haunted house pays off. We want your ideas On page 4 is a membership survey. Please complete it and mail it to us at PO BOX 10416, or bring it to the meeting.
