Public boating courses are available to groups. We also staff a display during National Safe Boating Week at the Coastland Mall and participate in the Annual Boat Show.
Monthly meetings include speakers on a variety of subjects relative to boats, boating, marine ecology, legislation, etc. Safe boating is promoted in various local parades with a special float.
A Speaker's Bureau and members are available to discuss (free) dozens of technical or general interest topics. Some members work especially well with youth. Boaters may contact the following "Port Captains" regarding the following passages/anchorage:
The Annual Boat Parade, hosted by the Naples Power Squadron, held at Venetian Village in December.
Many members, who own boats, help the government through monitoring waterway markers and chart features. We have 250 members; USPS has 60,000.
