Think Big!
Our new school based location allows us the ability to offer after-school access to the Little Brother or Sister for tutoring and checking in. The caseworker will be on site to coordinate and manage the tutoring program, enabling a quick visit.
The new location also allows us greater availability to the school counselors and teachers as references. The children who nay not othenvise apply for a Big Brother or Sister may be happy to, when approached about the program. We may then be able to each the kids who really need help.
These kids are generally good kids with a single parent and a need for friendship. some are angry, some are troubled, some are lonely, all are just kids looking for a friend .
