Guy Carlton was born in Ohio, August 23, 1939. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 - 1960 and became a resident of Collier County in April 1963. He received a degree in "Wildlife Management" in 1973 and was employed by Naples Conservancy as a research associate until July 1980 when his career objectives changed. He has been married thirty-two years to Diane and they have two daughters, Gay Lin and Carrie Elizabeth.
His community service includes but is not limited to the North Naples Rotary Club of which he is Past President and former District Governor's Representative, and membership on the Eagle Scout Board. His numerous awards include The Tobin Award from The Isaac Walton League of America; Paul Harris Fellow Rotary Award; League of Women Voters VIPP Award; Healthy Workplace Award - Random Drug Testing, and selection for inclusion in the Who's Who in Government in 1991.
