AARP - Senior Community Service Employment Program

  • Criteria for Program

    1. Clients must be 55 or older.
    2. Clients must meet the Department of labor low income guidelines.



  • Goal of Program

    • SCSEP helps older, economically disadvantaged citizens discover, develope and sharpen skills through on-the-job training and assists them in securing permanent employment outside the program.



  • Other Facts

    • SCSEP assigns clients to non-profit and government agencies for their training, thereby serving the community. SCSEP also offers computer training, resume workshops, individual assessment and planning sessions and safety and social programs to its clients.
