The Alzheimer's Support Network News, Holidays 1998 A Note from Suky About Elephant Fest As I write, we are basking in the glow of a very successful Elephant Fest. All of the figures are not yet in, but we know that it went very well. What a day we had! The weather more than made up for last year's rain. Weren't we lucky! A highlight of the day was Nancy Jane Tetzlaff's amazing offer to allow us to use Caribbean Gardens again next year on the first Saturday of November. Mark your calendar! It takes many people to put on a party for hundreds of people. Our thanks to each volunteer from the many who assemble our mailings, to the service groups who helped at the event, to the many generous donations of food and sponsorship funds. The Special Edition Elephant Fest '98 newsletter will be out soon. It will list each of your kind donations. Thank you for your patience as I wade through the hundreds of thoughtful and generous gifts. The most important thanks go to Terry Elder. In addition to coordinating our Family Services on a full time basis, Terry puts in hundreds of extra hours working out every detail of the event. Congratulations on a job well done!
