My name is DAVE CLUTCHEY, This Web page is an attempt to show how one branch of this family whose progenitor was JEAN FRANCOIS CLOUTIER began its roots in a little community in Ontario Canada in about 1859. My Great Grandfather, Jean Francois Cloutier was the SEVENTH GENERATION descendant of Zacharie Cloutier and I am, of course, the TENTH. A SUMMARY of Jean Francois Cloutier's line of ancestors extending to Zacharie can be seen by following the arrow below.
As can be seen from the summary I am a direct descendant of Zacharie Cloutier being a member of the 10th generation of that prestigious and well respected family. My background and interest in the Cloutier family will be seen by referring to the following link

At the present time I am retired and living in a pleasant golfing community known as " The Glades Country Club " in Naples Florida during the six months of winter. Naples is located in South West Florida and is one of the loveliest communities in the entire USA. The Glades has two golf courses, ten swimming pools, and ten tennis courts amongst its other amenities.
Our summer home is in BADEN, ONTARIO

are the grandparents of the writer hence their children are given special attention below
The list is taken from a publication entitled, " 1999 PATRONYMES avec leur leux d'origine.", obtained by the writer during a visit to La Fleche France in September 1999. Credit for the original compilation goes to Marcel Fournier, historian and genealogist. The writer acknowledges the tremendous depth of Mr. Fournier's research.
While the list was made from both Canadian and French archives, it should be noted that not every location identified in France is the birth place of the pioneer, it may simply have been the location where he was living when he agreed to emigrate.
