Peter was the third son of Joseph Clutchey I and Mary Jane Gerow. He was born March 17th. 1869 in Prince Albert, Ont. St. Joseph's church in Beaverton was the site of Peter's baptism. His sponsors were Peter Koster and Aurelia LaChapelle, ( spelled Coster and Chapele in the records.) He spent many winters cutting wood in the forests. He married Mary Ann Lundy on July 13th. 1896. Mary Ann was only 16 at the time and Peter was 27. The family lived at various addresses in Toronto, usually corresponding with the approximate location of the job he currently worked at. Many of his working years were spent as a maintenance worker with the Toronto Separate School Board. Both Peter and Mary are buried side by side in Mount Hope cemetery in Toronto.
She married William James LePage (children) William Roy LePage (b. 1927 - ) married Patricia Delores Warnier (children) Larry (b. 1950) and Wayne Thomas (b. 1953). Larry remained single while Wayne married Christine Mabel Davies. Wayne and Christine had four children, Jeffrey, Kristian, Taylor, and Zachary to go along with Christine's earlier child Simone. Kenneth Russel (b. 1931 - ) married Joan Patricia Cardno (children) Susan Carol, Linda Gail, Carolyn Joan and William Russel . Susan married Grant Richardson and had three children, Justin, Jordan, and Kodie. Linda married Dan Howard and had two children, Christopher and Shannon. Carolyn remained single. William Russel, Ken and Patricia's son married Teresa Jo McCurry and they had one daughter Carley Marie.
He married Kathleen Nora Cordner (children) Kathleen Mary who married Art Grout (children) Frank Stanley and Patricia Ann. Frank married Sharyn O'Brien and had two children, Shannon and Laura. Patricia Ann married John Percy "Bud" Flowers. Their two children are James and John. Stan remarried after Kathleen Nora passed away. He married Theresa LeRay(no children)
She married Edward Bertram Strawbridge. (no children) - but prior to this marriage, Margaret had a child, Margaret 'Peggy'(b.1922 - ) who married James Allan 'Al' Thomson (children) John Allan and James Stuart. Margaret Ellen's second marriage was to James Winchombe (no children)

PAULA THOMSON HONOURED WITH NATIONAL MS AWARDPaula Thomson, of Stratford Ontario, wife of James Stuart Thomsen has been named the Canadian Multiple Sclerosis Caregiver of the year for the Year 2002. Already the recipient of the Ontario award, Paula learned she was the unanimous choice of the National award known as the OPAL which recognizes caregivers who have demonstrated outstanding care and commitment to someone who has Multiple Sclerosis. Paula's husband Jim Thomson, son of Peggy Strawbridge was diagnosed with MS three months after their marriage in 1972. The disease has left him in a wheel chair since 1987, but not before he was able to complete an MBA from Concordia University in Montreal. Jim and Paula have two children Bonnie 19 and John 15. In addition to her nationally recognized care for husband Jim, Bonnie and fellow volunteers has done missionary work in Guatemala helping to build schools and run medical clinics. While on the one hand Paula says she hates MS, the love for her husband Jim outbalances the hate for his disease. Edward was the second son of Peter Clutchey and Mary Ann Lundy. He changed his name from Clutchey to Cloutier. Edward married Emily Cameron who had one daughter, Dorothy Doreen prior to her marriage to Edward. Emily and Edward had three children, Earle Edward married Dorothea Beatrice Parsons(children) Paul William, Todd Edward, Lori Elizabeth and David Andrew. June Louise married William Irwin (children) Barry William, Gary William, Colleen Ann, Daniel Edward, Patricia Diane, Dean Alfred, Mark Bradley, and Kimberley Diane. Donald John married Yvonne Eleanor Coles(children) Steven Donald, Karen Michelle, Cheryl Yvonne and Scott Cameron. Dorothy Doreen the step-daugthter of Edward and Mary, married Joseph William Stewart (children) Irwin William, Donald Joseph, Joanne Doreen, and Debra Leah.
Rita married Charles Ralph Fell and the couple had two children. Margaret Jean. Better known s 'Bunny', she married Earle Edward Freeman Sept.21 1947. The Freeman's and most of their family lived in Markham, Ont. The children are: Toni Darlene, (married William Fletcher), Lillian Ann Lenore,( d.1963) Mary Louise, married Harold Harding, Kirk Charles, married June Byers, Joseph Edward, married Patricia Sinclair, and lastly Michael. Ralph Michael Fell His first marriage was to Jeanette Campsall, their daughter was Shannon. His second marriage to Eva LeBretton produced two children, Michael Christoper Charles and Andrew Alexander Henry.
After the birth of Rita, Peter Clutchey and Mary Lundy had two sets of twins the first set Thomas Henry and Ann Louise were born April 17th 1916. They were born in Toronto in the house on Dovercourt Road. This pair of twins was only 9 years old when their father Peter died.
Thomas Henry married Sally Gallagher. Little is known of this family except the names of the three children; Carl, Sally, Lynn. Anne Louise married Martin Killoran in 1940. Their first daughter, Maureen died at birth. Louise and Martin moved to Lethbridge Alberta where Michael John Stewart was born. After Martin died Louise moved several times and presently lives in Calgary, Alberta.Eugene and Allan Clutchey They were born May 1st 1919.
Eugene was a military man. After WW2, he met and married Hazel 'Mickey' Squires. They lived in Rossland and Surrey BC. They had two children, Frances Ann married Clifford Frederick Reddick, and have a son Scott Franklin. We have no information about their son Allan Edward. Allan(b.1919-d.1999) Allan married Irene Cray. They had four children, Susan (b. June 26 ,1946) married Andy Senecal. Susan and Andy had two children Kevin Andrew (b. Jan 7,1970 d. Aug 4, 1993) and Julie Ann (b. Feb 21, 1974). Julie married Alan L. Folsom. After Susan's divorce from Andrew, she married Jack Wiest.Alan Clutchey and Irene Cray's second child, Edward (b. Oct 5, 1948) is married and his wife is Judy Marie Ostrander, They have three children, Terry Edward, (b. Feb 26, 1971) Derrick Scott (b. June 25, 1973) and Chad William (b.Sept 19, 1976) . The last two children of Allan and Irene are: Douglas (b. Dec 5, 1950) who is unmarried and resides in Phoenix Arizona and Cathy Irene (b. July 7, 1956). Cathy Irene married and later divorced Larry McLure. Prior to the divorce, the couple had two children, twins Raymond Lorenzo McLure (b. October 14 1977) and Tanya Melissa. Raymond married Jessica Valenzuela and their Generation XIII children are Rayanne (b. April 29, 1999) and Priscilla (b. Sept 27, 2001. Raymond's twin sister Tanya married Timothy Dean. They, too, have two Generation XIII children, Tyler Roy Dean and Travis Edward Dean.

Peter Clutchey was one of three Clutchey brothers, Frank and David being the other two, who stayed in the East, but because of his early death, the family was not well known outside of Toronto.
