The Adirondack's newspaper was named the Communique. Here is the July '47 edition sent to me by
Peter R.R. Bingley who was Captain Myers yeoman at that time. The margin comments are by Peter.

If you check page 4 you'll see why Peter, even though a good long ball hitter, never made it to
the big leagues. He forgot to step on first base.

Talk about nostalgia, this is certainly it. I hope somewhere, sometime,
someone who was there will see it and let me know.
